How to connect

    Sign up for UA Checkout and connect your store following the guide (about 10 minutes), or we connect it for you.

    Get the keys

    The public and private keys: liqpay.ua → «Налаштування» → API.

  3. 3

    Turn it on

    UA Checkout dashboard → the store's “Settings” → the “Payments” tab → LiqPay → “Configure”: paste the details and save; the integration turns on. LiqPay has a test mode (sandbox): no money is charged and the Shopify order is marked as a test.

Step-by-step guide

  1. 1Connect your Shopify store

    Sign up at app.ua-checkout.com and connect your store with the step-by-step wizard (10–15 minutes), or leave a “We'll connect it for you” request and the team does it.

  2. 2Get the API keys in LiqPay

    liqpay.ua → «Налаштування» → API: the public key (public_key) and the private key (private_key).

  3. 3Open the “Payments” tab

    UA Checkout dashboard → the store's “Settings” → the “Payments” tab → the “LiqPay (PrivatBank)” card → “Configure”.

  4. 4Paste the keys and choose the payment options

    The public and private keys; if you like, the methods on LiqPay's page (for example card,apay,gpay,privat24; empty means the ones turned on in your LiqPay), PrivatBank “Pay in parts” as a separate option in the checkout, and refunds through LiqPay. To try it first without real payments, tick “Test mode (sandbox, no money is charged)”. Press “Verify and save”: UA Checkout checks the keys with LiqPay and turns the integration on.

  5. 5Turn online payment on for buyers

    At first buyers see cash on delivery only. To offer card payment, open the “Basics” tab, choose “All methods” in “Card payment outside Shopify” and confirm the Shopify-rules risk. A paid order appears in Shopify right away, marked as paid. In test mode no money is charged and the Shopify order is marked as a test; once everything works, untick “Test mode” and save.

Questions

Can I test without real payments?

Yes: turn on LiqPay's test mode in the integration, place an order, then switch to live mode.

Do I need a developer?

No. You paste the keys in the UA Checkout dashboard and the Shopify theme usually stays untouched. If you prefer, we connect it for free.

How much does it cost?

UA Checkout: free up to 30 orders a month, then Pro at 790 ₴ a month, with no percentage of sales. The first 14 days of Pro are free.
